You’ll be warmly welcomed by our friendly guide, who will assist you with the transfer to your first accommodation: Kibo Palace Hotel, a serene retreat nestled at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. This charming lodge offers a peaceful setting, perfect for unwinding after your journey. Here, you can relax, prepare for the thrilling safari ahead, and enjoy a delicious dinner before you rest for the night.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After a hearty breakfast, the adventure begins! You’ll depart from Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees and massive herds of elephants. The park, often overlooked in favor of others, is a true gem, providing the opportunity to spot not only elephants but also lions, leopards, zebras, and a host of bird species. Upon arrival, embark on your first thrilling game drive and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the African bush. After a delightful picnic lunch in the park, continue your game viewing and soak in the wild beauty around you. In the late afternoon, you’ll head to your lodge for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay, where you’ll reflect on your first day of safari.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
Today, you journey to Lake Manyara National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve renowned for its diverse wildlife and incredible birdlife, including flamingos and the famous tree-climbing lions. As you explore this unique park, keep your eyes peeled for a variety of animals including elephants, giraffes, and baboons, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Great Rift Valley. After a morning game drive, enjoy lunch in one of the park’s scenic picnic spots before continuing your exploration. Later in the afternoon, you’ll head to Farm of Dreams Lodge, a tranquil haven with panoramic views of the Ngorongoro Highlands, where you’ll relax and enjoy a delightful dinner.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti
Prepare for a once-in-a-lifetime experience as you descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Garden of Eden” for its extraordinary concentration of wildlife. Here, you’ll have a chance to spot the “Big Five” – lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and leopards – all within the caldera’s stunning natural amphitheater. Enjoy a picnic lunch while taking in the breathtaking views before ascending from the crater. Afterward, you’ll travel to Serengeti National Park, the heart of Tanzania’s wild landscape. Arriving at Into Wild Africa Tented Camp (or similar), you’ll have a chance to unwind in this luxurious, tented safari camp, where dinner will be served under the African stars.

Day 4: Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti
Your day begins early with a game drive in Central Serengeti, the park’s most famous area, known for its expansive plains and high density of wildlife. After breakfast, travel northward towards the Northern Serengeti, a region famous for its dramatic landscapes and proximity to the Mara River, where the wildebeest migration occurs. Along the way, enjoy a picnic lunch and continue to spot herds of wildebeest, zebras, and predators in pursuit. The afternoon will be spent in the Kogatende/Bologonja area, one of the best places to witness the Great Migration. Return to Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp (or similar) for a delicious dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 5: Northern Serengeti – Following the Wildebeest Migration
This is a day dedicated to following the Great Wildebeest Migration. You’ll start with an early morning game drive, heading straight for the Mara River, where dramatic river crossings take place. As the wildebeest brave the river, predators such as crocodiles and lions often wait, adding excitement to the spectacle. After a delicious breakfast, you’ll have time to relax before heading out again in the afternoon for another game drive. The migration never stops, so each drive brings something new to witness! Afterward, return to your lodge for a well-earned dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Northern Serengeti – Tracing the Wildebeests
Today, it’s all about the wildebeest again! You’ll embark on another early morning game drive in search of the migration. The Northern Serengeti is a magical place to observe the wildebeest as they cross the Mara River, often under dramatic skies and with wildlife surrounding them. After returning to your camp for breakfast, enjoy some time to relax or go on a nature walk with a guide. In the afternoon, venture out once more to witness the breathtaking action as the migration continues, a truly unforgettable spectacle.

Day 7: Full Day in Northern Serengeti – Mara River

The landscape, wildlife, and drama of the scene will leave you speechless. After another exciting day, return to your lodge for a delicious dinner and relax under the African stars.

Day 8: Northern Serengeti to Kilimanjaro Airport
On your final day, enjoy an early morning game drive in the Northern Serengeti as you capture the last glimpses of the migration. Your safari ends with a scenic transfer to Kogatende Airstrip for your flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you’ll catch your flight back home, taking with you memories of a truly magical African adventure.
