Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru
Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or airport early in the morning. You will join the group and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its vast populations of flamingos and other bird species. The drive offers scenic views of the Great Rift Valley, so be sure to have your camera ready for stunning landscapes.
Upon arrival at the park, you will enjoy a game drive. Lake Nakuru is not only famous for birdwatching but is also home to a rich variety of wildlife, including giraffes, buffalo, rhinos, and zebras. The Park is particularly known for its rhino sanctuary, where you may have the chance to spot both black and white rhinos. After a morning of game viewing, you’ll head to your lodge for check-in and a delicious lunch.
In the afternoon, you will go on a second game drive, further exploring the park’s diverse habitats, including its dense woodlands and acacia forests. The day ends with a relaxing dinner and overnight stay at your lodge or camp, where you can reflect on the day’s incredible sightings with your fellow safari-goers.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara
After breakfast, your group will depart from Lake Nakuru and embark on a scenic drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. The journey will take you through beautiful landscapes and rural areas, offering glimpses of local Maasai villages along the way.
Upon arrival in Masai Mara, you’ll check into your lodge or camp for lunch. In the afternoon, prepare for your first game drive in the Masai Mara, one of the most famous safari destinations in the world. The Mara is known for its vast savannahs, abundant wildlife, and spectacular scenery. During the game drive, you’ll have the opportunity to spot the “Big Five” – lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos – along with cheetahs, hippos, and giraffes.
As the sun sets over the Mara, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and a peaceful evening. You’ll have the opportunity to share experiences with your group and relax under the stars.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara
Today will be an exciting full day spent exploring Masai Mara. After an early breakfast, your group will head out on a morning game drive. The Mara is teeming with wildlife, and the morning hours provide the best opportunities for predator sightings. The reserve’s open plains and riverine areas are home to various wildlife, including lions hunting, cheetahs sprinting, and elephants roaming freely.
After the morning drive, enjoy a packed lunch in the reserve, taking in the breathtaking views of the savannah as you eat. The afternoon game drive will offer more opportunities to explore the park’s diverse habitats and encounter wildlife in different settings.
In the late afternoon, you’ll return to your lodge for dinner and the option of relaxing or taking part in an optional evening cultural visit to a nearby Maasai village. Here, you can learn about the Maasai people’s customs, rituals, and traditions, as well as their way of life in this fascinating region.

Day 4: Morning Game Drive and Departure
On your final day, your group will have the opportunity to enjoy a morning game drive at sunrise. This early drive is the best time to observe predators, such as lions and leopards, as well as the many herbivores that roam the Mara’s plains. The cool morning temperatures and soft light make for perfect game-viewing conditions.
After the game drive, return to your lodge for breakfast before you start your journey back to Nairobi. You will travel back through scenic landscapes, and upon arrival in Nairobi, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or airport for your onward flight.
