Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara
Begin your adventure with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or airport, and embark on a scenic drive to Masai Mara. The drive takes approximately 5-6 hours, passing through beautiful landscapes including the Great Rift Valley, with stops for photos along the way. Upon arrival in Masai Mara, check in at your budget-friendly lodge or camp. After settling in, enjoy a hearty lunch before heading out for your first game drive.
Your guide will take you through the reserve, where you’ll have the chance to spot wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, buffalo, and the Big Cats. The Masai Mara is known for its high density of lions, leopards, and cheetahs, so keep your eyes peeled!

Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara
Start your day early with a morning game drive, when the animals are most active. You’ll have the chance to spot the Big Five lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino—along with other wildlife such as cheetahs and hippos. The Masai Mara is especially famous for its black-maned lions and cheetah populations.
After the morning game drive, head back to the camp or lodge for lunch. Enjoy a relaxing break before your afternoon adventure. In the afternoon, you’ll head out again for another game drive. Depending on the season, you may also witness the Great Migration if it coincides with your visit (July to October). Watch as wildebeest, zebras, and other herbivores traverse the plains, followed by their predator counterparts.Return to the camp or lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Departure to Nairobi
On your final day, enjoy an early morning game drive, where you may spot animals before they retreat into the bush for the heat of the day. This is a great opportunity for last-minute wildlife sightings.
After your morning drive, return to your lodge for breakfast and check out. After breakfast, you will begin your return journey to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.
