Day 1: Nairobi/Masai Mara National Reserve
You will be picked up from the airport for a scenic drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, one of the last remaining places on earth where wildlife thrives in its natural state, much as it did in Africa’s past. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara is famous for the incredible seasonal migration of wildebeest, zebras, and their predators. Arriving in time for lunch, you will enjoy a relaxing meal before heading out for an exciting afternoon game drive. Afterward, return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.Accommodation: Sarova Mara Game Camp
Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve
After a delicious breakfast, we embark on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch provided. The Masai Mara is renowned for its black-maned lions and its thriving resident wildlife. It’s one of the few places where you can witness all of the Big Five in a single morning game drive. Cheetahs here are particularly tame, often seeking shade under vehicles or even climbing onto the roof for a better view of potential prey. For bird enthusiasts, the Mara is a paradise, home to nearly 500 species, including 16 types of eagles, 6 species of vultures, 8 stork species, and the world’s heaviest flying bird, the Kori bustard. Enjoy a day filled with incredible wildlife sightings and breathtaking landscapes.
