Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Masai Mara
Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi. Your driver-guide will meet you at your hotel or airport for a scenic drive to the Masai Mara. As you travel through the Great Rift Valley, you’ll be treated to sweeping views of the stunning landscape, including rolling hills, picturesque valleys, and local villages. A coffee or tea stop will be made en route, giving you a chance to stretch and enjoy the scenery.
Upon arrival at the Masai Mara, you will check into your luxury tented camp and enjoy a delicious lunch. The camp is situated in a prime location, allowing for easy access to game drives and the incredible wildlife of the Mara. After lunch, your first safari game drive will take you into the reserve. The highlight of your afternoon will be witnessing the Wildebeest Migration as the herds continue their journey across the plains. The migration is an awe-inspiring sight, with thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles traveling in search of fresh grazing land.
In the evening, you’ll return to the camp for a relaxing sundowner drink and a hearty dinner. You’ll have time to unwind and reflect on your first day in the Mara, and if you wish, you can opt for a night game drive to see nocturnal animals in their natural habitat.

Day 2: Full Day of Safari and Wildebeest Migration
After an early breakfast, you’ll head out for a full day of safari exploration. This is the best time to see wildlife, as the cooler morning hours bring the animals out in search of food. You will experience a full day of thrilling game drives, with a focus on the Wildebeest Migration. The herds will continue their trek across the Mara, and you may witness dramatic river crossings as the wildebeests make their way through crocodile-infested waters.
During your game drive, you’ll also have the chance to spot other wildlife species, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and giraffes. The Masai Mara is home to a rich variety of species, and your expert guide will share fascinating insights into their behaviors and movements.
A packed picnic lunch will be served in the bush, giving you the opportunity to enjoy your meal amidst the beauty of the Mara. Afterward, you’ll continue with your game drive, exploring new areas of the reserve. The afternoon game drive offers more opportunities to spot predators like lions and cheetahs, as well as other exciting moments like river crossings.
At sunset, you’ll return to your camp for a relaxing dinner. Afterward, you can unwind under the African sky or take part in an optional Maasai village visit, where you can learn about the traditions and culture of the Maasai people.

Day 3: Final Game Drive and Return to Nairobi
On the final day of your safari, you’ll enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast. The early morning hours are perfect for capturing those last wildlife moments in the Mara. Whether you want to revisit the migration herds or explore new areas of the reserve, the final game drive offers a peaceful and exciting conclusion to your safari.
Afterward, you’ll return to the camp for breakfast\, check out, and begin your journey back to Nairobi. En route, there will be opportunities for a stop to stretch and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley. A lunch stop will be made along the way before you continue the drive back to Nairobi.
By late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Nairobi, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, concluding your unforgettable 3-day Wildebeest Migration safari in the Masai Mara.
