Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi and transfer to Masai Mara
You’ll start your journey by leaving Nairobi early in the morning and traveling to Masai Mara. The drive takes about 5-6 hours, and along the way, you can enjoy the scenic views of the Great Rift Valley.
Upon arrival in Masai Mara, you’ll check into your budget-friendly accommodation, After settling in, you can enjoy a light lunch at the camp before heading out for your first game drive in the Masai Mara Reserve.
This game drive will give you a chance to spot some of the reserve’s abundant wildlife, including zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and possibly lions or cheetahs. After the drive, return to your accommodation for dinner and relax for the night, reflecting on your first day of wildlife experiences.

Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara with Game Drives and Cultural Experience
Start the day with an early morning game drive, one of the best times to see wildlife. Early mornings offer prime opportunities to spot predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as other animals like elephants, rhinos, and antelope.
After your game drive, you’ll return to your camp for breakfast and have time to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Around midday, you can take a cultural visit to a Maasai village. The Maasai people are known for their rich cultural heritage, and this visit gives you the chance to learn about their traditional lifestyle, dances, and customs. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase handmade crafts from the Maasai.
In the afternoon, head out for another game drive in the reserve. Masai Mara’s vast landscape ensures there’s always something new to discover, from herds of wildebeest to predators hunting in the savannah.
After a thrilling day of game drives and cultural experiences, return to your camp for dinner and a relaxing evening under the stars.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Departure
On your final day in Masai Mara, you’ll have a chance to take a morning game drive before departing for Nairobi. This is your last opportunity to explore the park and spot any wildlife you may have missed, such as lions, giraffes, zebras, or elephants.
After the game drive, enjoy breakfast at your camp and then check out of your accommodation. You’ll begin your journey back to Nairobi, where the drive takes about 5-6 hours. This gives you time to reflect on your amazing Masai Mara experience during the ride.
