Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport. From there, you’ll journey towards Amboseli National Park, a 4–5-hour drive from Nairobi. As you drive through scenic rural landscapes, you’ll be treated to stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, on clear days.
Upon arrival in Amboseli, you will check in to your luxury lodge. After a delicious lunch, you’ll embark on your first thrilling game drive in the park. Known for its large herds of elephants, Amboseli offers incredible wildlife sightings, including buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of predators. The Park also provides spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, which often forms a breathtaking backdrop to the park’s wildlife.
As the sun sets, return to your accommodation for a delightful dinner, followed by a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli National Park
Start your day with an early morning game drive as the wildlife is most active during the early hours. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to get up close to these magnificent creatures. In addition to elephants, you can expect to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, and various species of antelopes and birds. The park is home to over 400 species of birds, making it a paradise for birdwatchers.
At mid-day, return to your lodge for a relaxing lunch, and enjoy some free time to unwind and take in the beautiful surroundings. In the afternoon, you’ll head out for another game drive, where you can explore the park’s diverse habitats and search for more wildlife. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit Observation Hill, a popular viewpoint offering panoramic views of the park, the swamps, and Mount Kilimanjaro.
After a day full of incredible wildlife experiences, return to your lodge for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Amboseli to Tsavo East National Park
After breakfast, you’ll embark on a scenic 3–4-hour drive to Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s oldest and largest national parks. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge. Tsavo East is known for its vast, open plains and is home to the unique red elephants, a sub-species that gives the park its iconic identity.
After lunch, head out for an exciting game drive in Tsavo East. The park offers spectacular views and excellent wildlife sightings, including lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and a variety of bird species. Tsavo East is also home to Lugard Falls, where you can spot hippos and crocodiles in the river. The vastness and beauty of the park will leave you in awe.
In the evening, return to your lodge for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Full Day in Tsavo East National Park
Today, you’ll enjoy a full day of game drives in the stunning Tsavo East National Park. With its open savannahs, rugged hills, and river valleys, the park offers an extraordinary landscape that’s perfect for wildlife viewing. The famous red elephants are one of the highlights, and you’ll also have the chance to spot lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, and a variety of antelopes.
Take time to visit the Lugard Falls, a beautiful area where you can see the river cascade over rocks, often surrounded by wildlife and birds. Tsavo East is also home to a rich variety of birdlife, including several species of vultures, eagles, and storks. You can enjoy an incredible birdwatching experience here.
After a full day of adventure, return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Tsavo East to Tsavo West National Park and Return to Nairobi
After an early breakfast, you’ll begin your drive to Tsavo West National Park, about 2-3 hours away. Tsavo West is famous for its stunning landscapes, including volcanic hills, savannahs, and the Mzima Springs, a freshwater spring that’s home to hippos and crocodiles. The Park is also renowned for its large elephant population and predators like lions and leopards.
You’ll enjoy a morning game drive through the park’s diverse ecosystems. Mzima Springs is a highlight, where you can watch hippos and crocodiles in crystal-clear water. Tsavo West also offers the chance to spot rare species such as the sable antelope and a variety of birds of prey.
After lunch at one of the lodges within the park, you’ll begin your return journey to Nairobi, a 4–5-hour drive. You’ll arrive in Nairobi late in the afternoon, bringing your amazing safari to a close.
