Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Tarangire National Park
Morning: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) where you will be met by your safari guide. After a warm welcome, begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, which is about a 2.5-3 hour drive from Arusha. Known for its large elephant population and majestic baobab trees, Tarangire offers a peaceful yet rich wildlife experience.
Afternoon: Upon arrival, enjoy a delicious lunch at your lodge or camp. Afterward, head out for your first afternoon game drive in Tarangire National Park. This park is famous for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of bird species. The park is also home to the Tarangire River, which attracts large concentrations of animals, especially during the dry season.
Evening: Return to your accommodation for dinner and relaxation. You may choose to unwind and enjoy the serene African landscape under the stars.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
Morning:
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Tarangire National Park, where you’ll have the chance to capture more wildlife sightings. Around midday, drive towards Serengeti National Park, which will take approximately 4-5 hours. En route, you will pass through the picturesque Tanzanian countryside, enjoying stunning views of the Rift Valley.
Afternoon:
Upon arrival at your Serengeti accommodation, check-in and have lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is renowned for its vast plains and the incredible diversity of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhinoceros). Depending on the season, you may even witness the great wildebeest migration.

Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and rest.

Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Morning:
After an early breakfast, enjoy a full day of game drives in the Serengeti. Serengeti is a wildlife haven, with excellent opportunities for spotting predators, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards. The park is also home to an impressive range of herbivores, such as giraffes, gazelles, and buffalo. Your guide will take you to some of the most game-rich areas of the park, ensuring optimal wildlife sightings.
Afternoon:
After a break for lunch at the lodge or a packed lunch in the park, continue exploring Serengeti’s diverse ecosystems. Depending on the season, you may get to see various stages of the annual wildebeest migration or large herds of elephants and zebras.
Evening:
After a thrilling day of wildlife exploration, return to your accommodation for dinner and relaxation.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Morning:
Enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti before leaving for Ngorongoro Crater. The drive from Serengeti to Ngorongoro takes about 3-4 hours, depending on the route and stops along the way. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most famous wildlife locations in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Afternoon:
Arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater and check-in to your accommodation. After lunch, descend into the crater floor for an exciting game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is a geological wonder and an ecological paradise, home to a wide variety of animals, including lions, elephants, rhinos, and flamingos. The enclosed nature of the crater makes it one of the best places in Africa to see wildlife up close.

Return to your accommodation for dinner and relaxation.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Morning:
Enjoy an early breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater for a final game drive. This is your last chance to observe wildlife in the crater, including the rare black rhino, and to experience the breathtaking scenery of this ancient volcanic caldera.
Afternoon:
After your game drive, ascend back to the crater rim and drive back to Arusha. The journey will take approximately 4-5 hours. You will arrive in the late afternoon, where you can be dropped off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
