Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi and Transfer to Amboseli National Park
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, your guide will welcome you and drive you to Amboseli National Park, approximately 4-5 hours away by road. This drive will take you through the beautiful countryside, with views of Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance, making it a perfect introduction to Kenya’s natural beauty.
Upon arrival, check in to your lodge or camp, where you will have lunch and enjoy the surrounding scenic views. In the late afternoon, embark on your first game drive in Amboseli. Famous for its large elephant herds, you’ll also spot lions, zebras, giraffes, and various bird species. As the sun sets, you’ll experience the beauty of the park and its wildlife against the backdrop of the stunning Mount Kilimanjaro.
Return to your lodge for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli National Park
Spend a full day exploring Amboseli, one of Kenya’s most popular parks. Start the morning with an early game drive, when the animals are most active. The Park is well-known for its majestic elephant herds, and you will also have the chance to see predators such as lions and cheetahs, along with buffalo, wildebeest, and various bird species.
After a well-deserved breakfast, return to the lodge for some relaxation before heading out again for another game drive. This afternoon, explore Amboseli’s swamp area, which attracts a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, hippos, and many bird species. You’ll have a chance to spot herds of elephants wading through the swamps and other animals cooling off in the water.
In the evening, enjoy a sundowner while admiring the view of Mount Kilimanjaro, before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Amboseli to Lake Nakuru National Park
After an early breakfast, check out of your lodge and head to Lake Nakuru National Park. This scenic drive will take around 5-6 hours, but along the way, you’ll enjoy beautiful views of the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival in Lake Nakuru, you’ll check in to your accommodation.
After lunch, take a game drive around Lake Nakuru, known for its large population of flamingos and a haven for rhinos. The Park also features a variety of other wildlife, including giraffes, buffalo, lions, and leopards. The combination of lakeside views and forested hills provides a picturesque setting for your safari experience.
Enjoy dinner and relax at your lodge for the night.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara
After breakfast, check out of your lodge and head to Masai Mara National Reserve. The journey will take approximately 5-6 hours, passing through stunning landscapes that offer glimpses of Kenya’s diverse wildlife. Upon arrival at Masai Mara, check in to your lodge or camp.
After lunch, head out for your first game drive in Masai Mara. This world-renowned park is home to the Big Five lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino as well as cheetahs, wildebeest, zebras, and many more species. The vast open savannah and riverine forests offer incredible opportunities to witness wildlife in its natural habitat.
Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Full Day in Masai Mara
On Day 5, you’ll enjoy a full day in Masai Mara, starting with an early morning game drive. This is one of the best times to spot predators, such as lions and cheetahs, as well as large herds of elephants and wildebeest. The Masai Mara is especially famous for its Great Migration (from July to October), where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River. Even outside of the migration season, the park offers exceptional game viewing with its rich animal population.
After returning to the lodge for breakfast, you will have the option to visit a Maasai village to learn about the culture and traditions of the Maasai people. In the afternoon, take another game drive or enjoy a hot air balloon safari (optional) for a unique aerial view of the Mara, followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush.

Day 6: Departure from Masai Mara
On your final day, depending on your flight schedule, you may enjoy a short morning game drive or a relaxing breakfast before your transfer to the airstrip. If you wish, you can also opt for an early hot air balloon safari for an unforgettable bird’s-eye view of the Mara before your departure.
After breakfast, your guide will transfer you to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi or to your onward destination. Alternatively, you can choose to take a road transfer back to Nairobi, depending on your preference and schedule.
