In the morning drive along the Rift Valley to Awash National Park 225 km east of Addis. Awash National Park is one of the best known and most visited of Ethiopia’s parks. Semi-desert type plants, thorny shrubs and savannah grasses dominate Awash National Park. The park offers good wildlife viewing and outstanding bird life. It contains an interesting range of volcanic landscapes. Up on arrival you will make game drive in the southern half part of the park to see big mammals such as a herd of Biesa Oryx, Summering gazelle, Warthog and several common and endemic birds, crocodiles, troop of Anabas baboon, grivet monkeys and many more. While you are at your lodge you will enjoy the breathtaking view of the spectacular Awash River falls. Overnight. Lodge/hotel

After breakfast head off to the hot spring part of the park. You will make game drive to view wildlife such as Hamadryads’ Baboons, Kudus, Dikdiks, Warthogs, Daferssa, Waterbuck and a number of bird species. The area has imposing scenery dominated by palm tree forest. Overnight. Loge/hotel

In the morning you will make more game drive within the park to see wild life and birds then drive back to Addis. On your way if time allows stop at Debre Zeiet to see some crater lakes before you end up in Addis. Transfer to the airport if you have international flight
