Day 1: Addis Ababa – Bahir Dar

Morning flight to Bahir Dar. Check into a hotel, then embark on a boat trip on Lake Tana to explore medieval monasteries on islands and the Blue Nile River's separation point. In the afternoon, drive 35km to Tis Abay to visit Blue Nile Falls, enjoying the local lifestyle along the way. Hike to the falls, cross the Portuguese bridge, and return by boat across the legendary Blue Nile. Overnight at Lodge/Hotel. (Note: Water volume may vary by season.)

Day 2: Bahir-Dar- Gondar

After breakfast, drive to Gondar. Your visit will include the Royal Enclosure, featuring several castles inscribed by UNESCO, King Fasiledes’s bath, and the captivating Debre Birhan Selassie church renowned for its intriguing ceiling paintings. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Gondar- Lalibela

After breakfast, fly to Lalibela to explore the UNESCO-registered eleven rock-hewn churches. Lalibela is renowned for its well-preserved rock-hewn churches, each crafted from a single volcanic rock. Return to the 11th-century mythical rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, considered the 8th wonder of the world. Overnight at Hotel/Lodge.

Day 4: Lalibela- Axum

After breakfast, fly to Axum (UNESCO heritage site). Upon arrival, meet and assist by ET-Holidays representative. Axum, with over 3000 years of history, was once the center of a great empire and ancient civilization, home to the original Ark of the Covenant. Explore this ancient city, including St. Mary’s Church, the sanctuary Chapel housing the ‘Ark of the Covenant,’ the coronation yard, Stelae Park, Tombs of Kaleb and Gebre Meskel, Ezana’s inscriptions, and Dungur Palace (known as ruins of the Queen of Sheba’s palace).  Overnight at Hotel.

Day 5: Axum- Addis Ababa

After breakfast, fly to Addis Ababa. Depending on your flight time, embark on a city tour, visiting the National Museum, Entoto viewpoint, Merkato (the biggest open market), and driving through Addis to see historical monuments and statues. Transfer to the airport for your international flight.
