Day 1

Arrival — Welcome to Mauritius

• • Our representative meets you at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport and transfers you to your luxury hotel, with the evening free to settle in and dinner at the hotel.

Day 2

North Island Tour — Port Louis & Caudan Waterfront

• • A full day in North Mauritius — Place d’Armes, the 1812 Champ de Mars racecourse (the oldest in the Southern Hemisphere), the Port Louis market streets and the Caudan Waterfront.

• Port Louis’ colonial streets, the seven-coloured earth of Chamarel and the sacred waters of Grand Bassin

Day 3

South Island Tour — Craters, Sacred Lakes & Coloured Earth

• • A full-day South Mauritius tour — the Trou aux Cerfs volcanic crater at Curepipe, the sacred Hindu lake of Grand Bassin, and Chamarel’s Seven Coloured Earth.

Day 4

Blue Bay Marine Park — Coral Reefs, Glass-Bottom Boat & Snorkelling

• • A day at Blue Bay Marine Park, one of the Indian Ocean’s finest reserves — a glass-bottom boat over the coral reef (brain and staghorn corals, parrotfish, turtles and rays below), optional open-water snorkelling, and an afternoon on the beach.

• The helicopter view over Le Morne’s underwater waterfall illusion, and the crystal-clear lagoon waiting at Île aux Cerfs

Day 5

Le Morne Helicopter Experience — Mauritius from Above

• • See the whole island from the air — a helicopter flight over lagoons and coral reefs, past the black basalt cliffs of Le Morne Brabant and the famous underwater waterfall illusion, with a free afternoon at Le Morne Beach.

Day 6

Île aux Cerfs — Full-Day Speedboat Island Excursion

• • A speedboat across the lagoon to Île aux Cerfs — a mostly uninhabited island of wide white beaches backed by casuarina trees — for a full day to swim, snorkel, walk the beach or simply find shade.

• Optional: Parasailing, snorkelling gear hire and watersports from local vendors — own cost.

Day 7

Departure Day

• • Breakfast at the hotel, then check out and private transfer to the airport.
