Day 1

Arrival — Check In & Unwind

• • You're met at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport and driven to your hotel, with the rest of the day yours for the pool, beach or bar and dinner at the hotel.

Day 2

North Mauritius — Port Louis & Pamplemousses Botanical Garden

• • A full-day North Mauritius tour — the historic Pamplemousses Botanical Garden (giant Victoria Amazonica water lilies, 85 palm species and Aldabra tortoises), then into Port Louis for the market, old town and harbour waterfront.

• Pamplemousses’ ancient botanical garden, the streets of Port Louis and the sacred waters of Grand Bassin

Day 3

Leisure Day — The Island at Your Own Speed

• • The first of two free days — no guide, no transfer, no timetable; the beach, the resort, or independent exploring by local bus or taxi, entirely as you like.

Day 4

South Mauritius — Grand Bassin & Chamarel Seven Coloured Earth

• • A full-day South Mauritius tour — the sacred Hindu lake of Grand Bassin (Ganga Talao) in its forested volcanic crater, then Chamarel’s Seven Coloured Earth.

Day 5

Île aux Cerfs — Full Day on the Island

• • A speedboat off the east coast to Île aux Cerfs — a small island in one of the region’s most beautiful sheltered lagoons — for a full day to swim, walk the island, or do absolutely nothing.

• Optional: Parasailing, snorkelling, undersea walk — own cost.
• Île aux Cerfs’ white shores and crystal lagoon — and the beach days this itinerary gives you time to actually enjoy

Day 6

Second Leisure Day — Whatever You Didn’t Get Round to Yet

• • A second free day — revisit a corner of the island you wanted more time in, book the spa, or do nothing at all — with your last dinner at the resort this evening.

Day 7
